Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Old fashioned oats
  • 1 scoop Protein powder (vanilla recommended)
  • 1/2 cup Nut butter (almond or cashew butter)
  • 1/4 cup Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • optional Milk (to help mixture come together)

Method

Preparation
  1. Add oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt to a bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Add nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix until clumping begins.
  3. If the mixture is too dry, add milk one teaspoon at a time; if too sticky, add oats one spoonful at a time.
  4. Roll the mixture into balls, using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop for uniformity.
  5. Optionally, roll in cinnamon sugar or just cinnamon for extra flavor.

Notes

Store protein balls in an airtight container in the fridge for about 7 to 10 days or freeze for 2 to 3 months. For best texture, chill them for 30 minutes after rolling.
