Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, yeast, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  2. In a saucepan, gently heat the milk and butter until warm, then stir in the pumpkin puree and egg.
  3. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm space for about 1 hour.
Filling and Shaping
  1. Once risen, roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with brown sugar, cinnamon, and optional nuts.
  2. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into equal pieces.
  3. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
