Ingredients
  

Filling Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground pork or beef (or a mix) Pork is classic and juicy.
  • 2 sheets Puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs, plain or panko For texture.
  • 1 medium Onion, grated or very finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Optional but enhances flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup or tomato sauce Adds sweetness and moisture.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce For savory depth.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Black pepper To taste.
  • 1 egg Egg for brushing the tops
  • Optional: dried herbs, smoked paprika, or a pinch of chili flakes Add for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Thaw your puff pastry until it bends without cracking. If it gets too warm and sticky, cool it in the fridge for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients until evenly mixed.
  3. Cut one pastry sheet in half and spoon filling down the center of each piece. Roll up and place seam side down.
  4. Slice the rolled pastry into mini pieces or larger sizes as preferred.
  5. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Notes

Store baked or unbaked rolls in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
