For the Chicken Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings Look for fresh and plump wings.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For marinating.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
For the Fries
  • 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries Opt for smooth-skinned potatoes.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil For coating.
  • 1 tsp salt
For the Salad
  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled For a lighter salad dressing, consider a dairy-free option.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Marinating the Chicken
  1. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Let them marinate for 20 minutes.
Preparing the Fries
  1. Coat the cut potatoes with vegetable oil and salt, ensuring they are evenly coated. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden and crispy.
Grilling the Wings
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and place the marinated wings on it. Grill for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush with honey and BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes.
Preparing the Salad
  1. In a bowl, combine lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then season lightly with salt and pepper.
Plating the Dish
  1. Arrange the grilled wings, crispy fries, and fresh salad on a large plate.
