Ingredients
Method
Marinate the Chicken
- Soak the chicken in buttermilk combined with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Ensure the chicken is well-coated for better flavor absorption.
Coat the Chicken
- Dip each marinated chicken piece in beaten eggs, letting the excess drip off, followed by dredging them in seasoned flour until fully coated.
Fry Until Golden
- Heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for 12-15 minutes or until a deep golden brown and cooked through.
Prep the Salad
- While the chicken is frying, slice the cucumbers and tomatoes, and prepare a bed of shredded lettuce.
Plate & Serve
- Arrange the crispy fried chicken alongside the fresh salad and serve, optionally drizzling olive oil over the salad.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, place chicken in a freezer-safe bag and use within 1 month. To reheat, use an oven preheated to 375°F for about 10-15 minutes.
