Ingredients
  

For the Beef Marinade
  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes Use fresh, high-quality beef.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper Adjust to taste.
For the Yellow Rice
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp curry powder
  • 4 cups chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth.
  • 1 tbsp butter
For the Salad
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 0.5 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For salad dressing.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the Beef: Toss the beef cubes with olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Yellow Rice: In a saucepan, melt the butter, stir in the basmati rice, turmeric, and curry powder. Add chicken broth and simmer until fluffy.
  3. Sear the Beef Bites: Heat a skillet over high heat and cook the marinated beef until caramelized.
  4. Prepare the Salad: Toss together lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers with olive oil and lemon juice.
  5. Assemble the Plate: Serve the garlic beef bites alongside a dome of yellow rice and a generous helping of fresh garden salad.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to a month. Reheat on low heat to retain flavor and texture.
