Ingredients
  

For the Steak and Fries
  • 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced Look for cuts with good marbling.
  • 4 cups frozen French fries Baked or air-fried until crispy.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For sautéing vegetables.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce For flavor; substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Vegetables and Salad
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for salad)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toss the sliced beef with soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking the Fries
  1. Prepare the French fries by baking or air-frying them until they’re golden brown and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
Sauté Vegetables
  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, then add onions and bell peppers. Cook until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
Cook the Steak
  1. Add the marinated steak to the skillet with sautéed veggies, cooking over high heat for about 3-5 minutes until the steak is browned and tender.
Build the Plate
  1. Toss together lettuce, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes with lemon juice and olive oil for a fresh salad. Serve with the crispy fries and steak mixture.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For crispy leftovers, reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
