Ingredients

For the Beef Skewers
  • 500 g beef steak, cut into cubes Choose quality beef with good marbling.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Fries and Salad
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries For healthier option, consider sweet potatoes.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 4 cherry tomatoes

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Toss the beef cubes until thoroughly coated. Allow marinating for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, ensuring they are packed closely together.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill to high heat. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are charred and juicy.
  2. Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the potato fries until golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Arrange the grilled beef skewers on a plate alongside crispy fries and a fresh salad of lettuce, tomato, red onion, and cherry tomatoes. Drizzle lemon juice over the salad.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Marinate the beef overnight for improved flavor.
