Ingredients
  

For the Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings Fresh chicken delivers the best texture.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Used for marinating the wings.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Applied during the last 10 minutes of baking.
For the Fries
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries You can soak them in water for better crispiness.
  • Vegetable oil for frying Heat until shimmering before frying.
  • 1 tsp salt Season fries immediately after frying.
For the Greek Salad
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese Can substitute with dairy-free cheese for a vegan version.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for crispy skin.
  2. Prepare the wings by tossing them in a large bowl with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Arrange the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping them halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Apply the BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes of baking.
Cooking the Fries
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan until shimmering, then carefully add the fries.
  2. Fry until golden and crispy, roughly 6–8 minutes, and season with salt immediately after frying.
Making the Greek Salad
  1. Combine the romaine lettuce, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta in a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper. Toss gently.

  1. Serve your meal by plating the crispy BBQ wings alongside the golden fries and the refreshing Greek salad.

Notes

For added texture, pair the dish with crunchy coleslaw or sweet corn on the cob. The wings can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
