Chips Base
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (small curd, 2% or 4%) Fat-free cottage cheese can be used but may be more fragile.
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp salt Start light; adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika Can substitute with chili powder.
  • 1 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese Optional but recommended for flavor.
Baking Support
  • 1 parchment paper Essential for preventing sticking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Blend cottage cheese until smooth using a small blender or stick blender.
  2. Stir in seasonings including salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Spoon small circles of the mixture onto the baking sheet, keeping them thin and evenly spread.
Baking
  1. Bake at 325 to 350°F (163 to 177°C) for 20 to 35 minutes, until edges are browned and centers are firm.
  2. Cool fully on the sheet; they will crisp more as they cool.

Notes

For air frying, set temperature to 300 to 325°F and reduce cooking time. Let them cool completely for maximum crispiness. Store in an airtight container for 1-2 days or up to 4 days in the fridge.
