  1. Start by prepping your ingredients. Drain and rinse the chickpeas under cold water.

  3. Add the rinsed chickpeas to the bowl along with the diced red onion.
  4. Chop the parsley and sprinkle it over the mixture.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until combined.
