Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 pieces wooden skewers
For the Cheese Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour Consider using gluten-free flour for dietary needs.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Use aged cheddar for a sharper flavor.
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
For the Fries
  • 1 lb frozen French fries or 4 large potatoes for homemade fries
For the Greek Salad
  • 4 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • 2 tomatoes sliced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toss the chicken cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Allow marinating for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken onto wooden skewers, ensuring even distribution for uniform cooking.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high and grill the skewers for about 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour to create a roux, and cook for about a minute until bubbly.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, then stir in the cheddar cheese and paprika until melted and creamy.
  4. Cook fries according to package instructions or prepare homemade fries until crispy.
Assembly
  1. Combine lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and feta in a bowl; drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Serve by arranging fries on one side, salad on the other, and grilled skewers in the center, drizzling with cheese sauce.

Notes

For a chef-level flavor technique, marinate the chicken in yogurt overnight. To achieve perfectly crispy fries, soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before frying.
