For the Avocado Lime Sauce
  • 1 ripe Avocado Make sure it’s well mashed
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice Freshly squeezed is best
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt Can substitute with sour cream for a similar tang, or olive oil for dairy-free
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro Chopped, for flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Place on a greased baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake salmon for 10-15 minutes, until just cooked through.
  2. While the salmon bakes, prepare the avocado lime sauce by blending avocado, lime juice, yogurt, garlic, and cilantro until smooth.
  3. Remove the salmon from the oven and serve with the avocado lime sauce on top.

Notes

The salmon is versatile; it can be easily doubled for guests or can be stored for leftovers. Leftover salmon can be reheated gently to maintain moisture. Pair with garlic rice, roasted vegetables, or salad for a complete meal.
