Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds Beef (sirloin, rump, or ribeye), cut into bite-sized chunks Choose your preferred cut of beef.
  • 1/3 cup Soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar or honey Either works for sweetness.
  • 3 to 4 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice or lime juice For tanginess.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • to taste Chili flakes or sriracha (optional) For added heat.
For the Skewers
  • 1 medium Red onion, cut into chunks For threading onto skewers.
  • 1 medium Capsicum, cut into chunks Colorful peppers can be used.
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, whole or halved Use your favorite type.
  • 1 cup Pineapple, cut into chunks (optional) For a sweet addition.

Method
 

Marinating the Beef
  1. In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients together.
  2. Toss the beef chunks in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Preparing the Skewers
  1. Thread the marinated beef and your choice of vegetables onto the skewers, ensuring even spacing.
  2. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high and lightly oil the grates.
Cooking
  1. Grill the skewers for about 8 to 12 minutes, turning them every couple of minutes.
  2. Rest the skewers for 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Avoid marinating vegetables for too long to prevent them from becoming soggy. Serve with yogurt garlic sauce or other dipping sauces for added flavor.
